Taslim Ahmed Khan

Position: Associate

Mr. Taslim Ahmed Khan is a Barrister-at-Law, having been called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, He is also an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Academically, Mr. Khan holds dual LL.B. (Honors) degrees, one from the University of London (UK) and another from Stamford University Bangladesh. Further enhancing his legal education, he obtained an LL.M. from Eastern University, Bangladesh, in 2019. He completed his Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at the University of the West of England, Bristol. 
Mr. Khan’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of legal areas, including Company Law, Banking and Finance, Land and Property Law, Labor and Employment Law and Commercial Transactions.

Prior to his current affiliation, Mr. Khan was associated with Abdul Matin Khasru & Associates, a prominent law chamber in Bangladesh. During his tenure, he acquired substantial litigation experience and provided high-level legal research and support to senior counsel. This foundational experience significantly contributed to his current competence in managing complex legal matters with clarity and precision.

Mr. Khan is actively involved in regulatory compliance, company formation, and corporate governance advisory. He routinely provides counsel on the structuring and incorporation of foreign, joint venture, and domestic entities, and effectively liaises with key regulatory bodies such as the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) and the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). His services extend to post-incorporation matters, including share structuring and transfer, regulatory filings, and company restructuring, including voluntary winding-up procedures.

In the domain of employment and labor law, Mr. Khan represents both employers and employees in contentious and advisory matters. This includes disciplinary proceedings, wrongful termination claims, and internal policy reviews. His balanced approach ensures discreet and practical insights into sensitive employment issues.

Mr. Khan is also an active courtroom practitioner, regularly appearing before the Hon’ble High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and subordinate courts. His litigation practice covers writ petitions, civil disputes, and criminal matters. This is complemented by rigorous case preparation, strategic advocacy planning, and expert drafting of pleadings and submissions, honed over more than ten years of experience and his Bar Training Course.

In addition to his domestic practice, Mr. Khan has gathered significant international legal experience in the United Kingdom, having worked with Taj Solicitors, a reputable law firm serving the British Bangladeshi community in London. His work there focused on immigration law, encompassing asylum matters, business immigration, sponsorship license applications, Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) allocations, and appeal strategies. He was actively engaged in drafting legal documents, witness statements, and preparing appeal bundles, gaining valuable exposure to UK legal procedures and enhancing his capacity to advise on cross-border legal matters.
